By 1 - if 200 hours is "nothing" then surely you agree that the initial estimate was a gross under representation. The glass area and other non-painted exterior trim will be covered up before repainting, but that's about it. The average full car respray cost for an average sized vehicle such as a Volkswagen Golf requiring minimal repairs would be around 2500 + VAT. This is especially true if the car is highly valuable; a cheap paint job will detract from its value should you decide to sell.
